I put a bunch of music from my computer on to my phone the other night. Can I play the music from my phone through my DNX 5140 head unit? I tried hooking the usb cable up from my phone to the head unit and my head unit doesn't recognize that anything is plugged in to the usb port.

Your stereo probably expects to see an iDevice or Mass Storage Device. If your phone is like the GNex, the internal memory is mounted as MTP instead of Mass Storage.

TL;DR: use Aux In

Trying to root and flash recovery on my friends RAZR. Used motofail to root but not sure if it worked. He was in a hurry so I'll try tomorrow. Something special I should do??

I used matt's toolkit to do my wife's it was painless. It can root install recovery etc

i have no idea about razr roms all i did to the wifes was root it and do the tether hack.

I think stock jb is all you have. I have atrix hd so we have basically same phone. With mine you can root but still have to have stock rom.

Hopefully haz new phone soon. Set email alerts to a bunch of phones on Swappa hoping for a good deal. Want a cheap Nexus S, but the fuckers are hard to come by.
