I don't know, they might have a point; perhaps the teacher could have prevented it by separating them. You certainly don't send your kid to school to get in fights, you are pretty much required to trust your kid's safety to the school system.

There's nowhere near enough data to form a fully informed opinion, but based on what data I have, that's an iffy situation.
