Ignorance is bliss. I don't know, and don't want to know, why it's better to work with agents and have never been happy with agents in the past, so I just buy direct from the lowest-bidding big conglomerate...for the past few years that's been Geico. I have nearly complete, nearly direct control of my policy online. I can add or remove individual components like rental coverage, roadside, comp, collision, UM, change liability level, deductibles, etc, at whatever level I want for each vehicle. I never trust someone to do me right, I just do it myself.

Geico's phone server is also pretty damned good. I've only had to call them a few times but they've always been helpful.
