You might want to try the ICS build on rootzwiki. Everything works except video recording. It doesn't have the issues cm7 does, but it is plain AOSP.

Go for it. Just be sure to ODIN the stock EH03 2.3.5 package before you flash it, since the partition size is different than CM7. (it will prevent the FC issue)

Just fyi I'm picking up a Nook because I played with one on Friday at B&N, and a 7" tablet is okay with me. Plus there are a ton of mods for it, hell even an ICS port already. Can use le Fascinate to tether it and prawfit.

Edit: nvm he's probably in front of a green screen and it reflected the green color

I threw on a cm kernel with miui.us. battery is at around 44%.

considering I did use it non stop for about 2 hours in the morning

You can use any AOSP kernel with MiUi, if you didn't already know. Also, doesn't morfic make G2x kernels?
