Lol, no fool. You can keep unlimited as long as you don't end your contract. Renewing is fine.

The only way you can loose unlimited is if you remove data from your line by activating a dumbphone on it. That's why I keep le D1 laying around as a spare in case something happens to my or my wife's phone and we need a spare until warranty/insurance sends new one.
Renewing doesn't do anything except use an upgrade and put an ETF on your account so you stay with them for two years. (tapatalk)

Then as long as you plan on being on vzw for a while, might as well upgrade. DX2 has fgt qHD pentile
and locked and less roms than DX.

TWRP is going to be win as fuck once the bugs are worked out. Backing up and restoring take less than half the time it does in CWM. Not to mention you can flash more than one zip and once and it has a built in file manager. Oh, and you can use ADB while your in it as well.

A big one is it takes 60 seconds to load when you boot to it. I thought I messed up my phone when I flashed it lol. Also the theme is undersized but they say fixes are coming.

The only time I've seen it was a video where they showed it on a tablet. Looked like it had lots of potential.

Is CWM just slow on le GN or something? A backup only takes 2-3 minutes tops on le Fascinate, and the ROMs are virtually the same size.

I remember it taking forever on the DX too.
The fastest I ever remember it was on the D1 for some reason. Probably smallest rom evar.

CWM backups do take awhile on DX. not sure on DInc2.

That's odd. I don't really remember how long it took on le Eris.
Which CWM are you using? I use the "regular" 5.xxx that comes along with anything CM-based. Never tried to make a backup on the touch recovery. Maybe it has something to do with the YAFFS2/MTD filesystem le Fassy uses? |

I've used the regular CWM on DX and GNex and now I'm using the touch CWM on my GNex. Has always been pretty slow.
Could be fassys filesystem helping you out.
