So I just put in this Kenwood DDX514 double din in my truck, and the current remote is a RC-517, my dad said this remote worked before, but not entirely sure of that since kenwood's website says a RCDV330 is the proper remote.

lets see. we moved in and idk what was on top. my dad added fake tile that stuck on the wood floor. idk whats under the wood. what would be under there?

if you have real hardwood, it could be plywood, or particle board.
It might be a concrete slab also, but I doubt it. Is there crawl space under house?

If you do ceramic tile, its best to replace the wood with concrete board to give the mortar something to stick to when you lay the tile
