I have 3 cats and a dog (formerly 2 dogs). Juan's comparison was spot-on, except he forgot the part about barking and the idiotic health problems dogs have.

I have nothing against cats but every time i go to my aunts house in Missouri (they have like 5 cats ) i never see their cats, they book shit to the garage and hide for the whole time that we are there

Some cats are scaredy cats. My sister's cat is like bigfoot, only seen in blurry photos.

I never have people over but I'm pretty sure my 2 of my 3 cats would be attention whores if someone came here.

My wife used to be a dog person, but we got a kittah that converted her.

I grew up with dogs and cats. Dogs can be more personable at times but require more maintenance and aren't as jesty or bamf.
