i dunno man. if the gov just sets rules to keep it legit and then just let things happen then cool. if it sees companies being dicks it should step in. all while whatever agency does this is regulated.

Yeah, a measured, limited amount of gubbmint in there keeping things fair is right, even if it means red tape putting some players out of the game. Too little gubbmint, starting with the way things are now, is a fast train to shitsville. Too much gubbmint and shit's gonna suck too. We need just enough intervention to keep the playing field even and open in the traditional spirit of Internet.

true. that was me being idealistic and not much of a realist. i bet the net neutrality either starts weakly and doesnt get much better. or it starts off decently but declines from there and it becomes another place for companies to compete for insiders
