Had crazy idea few hours ago.

Radio has usb port. Radio charges ipod while in use. Phone charger has removable usb cord

Use radio to charge phone. Genius

However, radio's USB port may be low-current so it might charge slowly.

So, because so many Towelies: T56 is awesome 6 speed from V8 Camaro/etc that handles lots of power and has dual overdrives, with 5th being similar to my 5th and 6th being a crazy .5.

T5 is light duty 5 speed. They did make tougher one for V8s but I no haz.

Also my new gears are closer ratio, most of which was compromised with a taller 1st gear. Slower from a stop, faster from a roll.

Today I removed old trans and did some prep work. Old clutch was delaminated and pilot bushing was worn down to nothing.

Like Rick said, it's probably a pretty weak charge. Give it a try, it won't hurt the phone. It just probably won't charge fast (or at all if you're playing music, using gps, etc).
