In the Nightly file from 8/26, currently running it, I love the ability to make custom shortcuts. This is real handy because of my email accounts. There are 2 college email accounts on the D1, so each has a school logo as the icon. Real handy,

just for future reference, that is an ADW feature, not CM. I know CM comes with it, but I'm just saying if you ever try a different rom, ADW is in the market so you can still have those features.

Yeah the shortcuts were added a couple updates ago (still very recent) and so was the screen management stuff.

Well, apparently the Nightly files are little bit different than CM6 RC1/2/3....my phone just went apeshit crazy.
Not totally apeshit, but the phone wouldn't load the com.android file, so it was forcing the phone to force close or report....then start the phone rebooting over and over. Back to my nandroid backup, I go. EDIT: I dont think I did anything wrong, . Last edited by race2c; 08-26-2010 at 10:38 PM. |

No problems Juan.
It allowed me to realize what it takes to load a theme on ze D1, I think there are some over on XDA that are for Nightly files. If I seriously want to run a theme, I will just run CM6 RC3. In that way, I wont have to wipe because going from CM to CM. Have either of you heard anything about the Droid Pro or whatever new Android phones are coming out? Or should I wait until LTE on VZW gets the bugs worked out of it? |

Re: Android Thread
Droid Pro might just be the D2 with GSM. That's what a lot of people are speculating anyways.

The only downside about those themes is they appear to only be on CM6 RC2/3.

That is probably very true.
In the past couple hours or so, I have updated to CM6 RC3 and gonna just see what 928Droid Black Glass looks like. I may end up going back to Nighlies, not sure at this moment. EDIT: I posted the other day in the Fapbox on GMFS, that I am kicking myself now for not getting the DX. |

Ken- below
http://www.gmfullsize.com/forum/show...postcount=2580 I installed Black Glass, and enjoyed it for the short time I had it on the phone, just hated the way the notification pull down looked. It was a pain in the ass to read. |
