I'd venture to guess there's a lot of GM truck theft in Texas

Judging by all these roofers and landscapers with dropped new trucks

That's what I figured, same with the mustangs around here, 03/04 cobras were stolen so much all you would see was V6 cars with cobra bodyparts and foxbody terminator conversions everywhere.

According to my 2007 gas logging, the truck ran 350-375 miles to the tank around town and 450 on a highway trip

best I saw was 290 out of a full tank with the big tires

looks like I'm back to my original 15-16mpg
