Well, I have most of my shit ready to go, but my god damn hard drive was DOA. Couldn't install windows, format it, or anything. Did a diagnostic test with western digital's software and it failed the test, multiple bad sectors.

if you get a good one theyre fine but it seems like WDs are more likely to be DOA or fail earlier.

If I get this replacement and it's DOA I'm just going to get a refund and buy a seagate.
I've always used western digital and have never had a problem, probably had 6-8 of them, not counting the 2 or 3 external WD drives I have.
