I did. Didn't know that was a no-no. Also been having dropped call issues. had 4 today at work, which is a 3-4 bar service area.

Yea, might want to wipe data and reflash. Since the entire filesystem is converted you can't restore data without problems. Odin the EC09 radio if you're having call issues. It came from the original gingerbread leak and works best with AOSP.

Okay I got into some crack ass boot menu and I cant figure out how I did it

The menu let me choose between [latest recovery] and [stock recovery]

Try MyBackup. It should be free in the market. You can tell it to backup apps, their data, SMS, etc and then restore them to the new phone.

I can remember but restoring some of that will require root I think.

mybackup will backup the apps without root but it wont back up their data.

ah ok, i knew there was something it wouldn't do. I couldn't remember because the only time I don't have root is the 10 mins after an SBF before I root it.

revolution might be more stable than TB i guess and the TB is too old to get a free replacement like a Bionic or something.

the specs and retail price of bionic and TB is only like $40 at most. I'm going to ask them what my options are when they call back tomorrow. thats what rep at the store told me to try and trade for. A Bionic. The Rev isn't a bad phone I don't think... I dunno

The reviews of Revolution weren't that great. You should at least try to see if they can give you a Bionic. I think even a little bit of money, e.g. <$50 or less, would be worth it. At least in my opinion.
