We aren't saying you NEED 4g but you eliminated some pretty nice phones because you thought 4g would limit your data when it wouldn't. If a rep told you it would, they were trollin' you.

The Mikes and Bill just got GNexs and still have unlimited. Same with Jay and his TBolt/Bionic.

That said, at least you got an iPhone and not something shitty

They're full of shit. If you currently have an unlimited data plan, all you do is activate your new phone on the line and go about your business. The fact you have a 3G/4G phone is mute point. Data is data.

If VZW idiots tell you to switch to a "4G" plan shove iphone into their eye socket and walk out with Nexus or Bionic.

GNex, Razr, and Rezound I think are the best Android phones on VZW.

Plus he can get a poiple razr

if you had unlimited data before vzw went to tiered plans, the account is grandfathered in. As Chris stated, data is data and it doesnt matter whether its 3g/4g/7.5g/any g as of now.

Take that iphone back and get a gnex. The gnex is a much better device based on specs. We all know apple products are behind when they are released, so get something that will be able to withstand some of technology updates.

Yea ima go check out the nexus after class. How much was it? I only spent $200 on the iPhone. Had an upgrade...if the nexus is close I may switch. Didn't want to spend a lot cause it seems I get a new phone every year

GNex is still $299 at verizon. It's $229 at wirefly with an upgrade but since you've used it at VZW already, I don't know if returning the iPhone will return your upgrade to use somewhere else.

If you want to play with roms and whatnot at some point and want the latest OS and updates, get a GNex. It also has a zero-shutter delay camera so takes FAST creeps. I guess the only downside is no sd card slot but it has 32gb internal so it isn't needed.

If you want to stick with the DX form factor and motorola skin on top of android, look at a Razr or for beast battery the Razr Maxx. They seem like decent phones but are locked down like the DX so modding is more of a PITA. Oh and no removable battery.

I tried bacon reader but like Reddit News better, it has a ICS theme and everything. It also displays the pic automatically when tapping a topic.

Well, part of it depends on how much you like Android. Also, is the iPhone a 16gb? If so then you also get double the storage. The GNex has the 0-lag camera, 720p screen, etc also. Go play with one at the store and decide but several of the peeps here have GNex's and love them. I'll be getting one soon.
