not sure, but its a lot like amazon. you can't just install the apk, you have to install the getjar market thingy to it. similar to amazon as to how its linked to an account for the updates. thats personal experience, so it may be different now.

---------- Post added at 11:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:59 AM ---------- If I can get insurance on on it then I will probably keep it for a while. Also while VZW exchange it if something happens while its under warranty even though I got it second hand? Not sure how that works. |

I wish a miracle would take place and the Galaxy SIII would wind up on Verizon.
It destroys the GSII and GNex |

As I've seen. FIDIL TouchWiz4/5 is seckzy.
I'm referring to the probable quad-core chip and MUCH more powerful GPU. I would expect a good bit better build quality over the GNex as well. |

why would the SGSIII have better build quality than a GNex?

Supposedly that's what they're after. Maybe they'll come through, maybe not. They could've done MUCH better on the Galaxy Nexus though. The one I played with had inexcusable casting defects on the back plate and areas of the frame, plus the gaps were all fudged. My Nexus S is flawless and feels MUCH sturdier.

That LG Spectrum looks decent for its price. For $199 you get a 4.5", 720p, LTE, 8mp, 16gb SD, Dual-core 1.5ghz phone.
That said, I don't know if I'd get an LG.

Have there been any good comparisons to how dual-cores actually help in terms of real-world experience when compared to a single core?
I understand there are lots of variables in the potential comparison, ghz, over clock/underclock/etc, but it would be an interesting read.
