It's not the site itself, it was a major loss of old members. Some had other things in life and just stopped posting. Some were driven away by a mass of new members that are douchetards.

All the new guys will get tired of no more tech and nobody to listen to their bullshit and go away to a mazda forum, and the OG's can have their site back and bring the technical glory upon it once again.

I browse through the lounge every few days, but there are only 2-3 tech threads I ever read because everything else is "OMG my tranny shit after I shifted from drive to reverse 20 times at full throttle" or "what gears do I need? What tires do I want?"

Its funny, I read these types of complaints about every huge board. Not everyone is going to be happy with it and og members loved it when they knew all the members that were on the site. There are new members everyday and it will continue to get new members. It happens, but thats what does happen with big boards, the og's miss the old ways of the forum.
