i love the 80s pontiacs that ventura is sweet but i never like the lights on them

the 69 grand prixs are about the prettiest big 60s pontiac that or the early 60 cars that had the 421 sd engines

btw as far as looks go when comparing the aztec to the newer crossovers, I think the biggest reasons it is fugly are:

- tiny wheel/tire combo in relation to vehicle size
- godawful rear window design

If the ass end was nicer looking and it had larger wheel wells to offset the bulkiness of the body, it may not have looked so bad.

I posted modern crossovers with the same godawful rear window design.

The wheels/tires were normal back then and nobody really minded. It was considered ugly because of the things it had in common with now-modern styling.

That's why I posted this yesterday: I suspect if you threw some 20 inch wheels and another manufacturer's badge on it, with no other modifications you could put it on the market right now and it would succeed in spite of people knowing it's really the Aztec.

The new ones posted have a single rear window and a "tailgate" area like most SUVs and crossover. The pontiac has this shit:

Some vertical glass meeting up with some slanted shit that covers a 1/4-1/3 of the length of the vehicle.

Oh, I forgot about that thing. Off the top of my head, I don't remember seeing that on modern SUVs, but it does exist and doesn't stop people from buying vehicles and feeling smug about them...
