Got in to St Louis at about 1230am, got to dads/stepmoms at 1am, got to bed about 130-145am, left for class about 515am as trip from stl to murray is 3.5-4 hrs. Had class at 10am, to which i couldnt miss.

Stomach feels acidic today. Had el cheapo mexinomz and it didn't sit as well as it usually does, possibly because I then proceeded to do a lot of moving around and bending down (cleaning the server room, picking up boxen and changing modular floor tiles) for a few hours after that.

House: Drains all your money and ties you down. If you had bought when the economy was better (like I did) there's a good chance you'd be fucked now (like I am)...especially since you don't have a great job.

Serious relationships: Overrated. I know that's easier to say when I have a good marriage, but I believe it's true. Anyway, it's certainly not something that would make you special. It's a ball and chain even when it's a nice ball and chain.

Job: You have a job? You're doing better than fucking millions of people who are trying hard. In this economy it's a miracle to have work at all.

You have to make your happiness by choosing what makes you happy and going for it. It doesn't need to be the big stuff. It just needs to make you smile every day.

Dennis Leary had part of it down pretty well:
“Happiness comes in small doses folks. It's a cigarette butt, or a chocolate chip cookie or a five second orgasm. You come, you smoke the butt you eat the cookie you go to sleep wake up and go back to fucking work the next morning, THAT'S IT! End of fucking list! ”

Well, there's bigger stuff like toys too - you enjoy what you're doing with your truck, I'm sure. makes me happy every day.
