I plan on copying them all over to the DC and have it set when they login to create them a home folder on the \\\blahblah\users directory
Then map the My Documents folder to that directory

I notice that both AOT and GMFS stink it up on FF for me at times, anyone else? But it is still better than IE for me though.

Anyone ever charge random people for private IT work?
I need to start doing this cause tired of employees, past employees, etc wanting everything to be free...need to post up a price sheet.

I don't do shit for free except for immediate family.
Oddly, I don't get many people at work asking me to do work for them. Either they're just not aware enough of me (I do tend to hide in my office) or they're not very confident in me .

So we have one department who are a bitch to deal with right? They act like we don't do shit for them and like they deserve so much more than what we do or something. They decided they'd rather not use our services and hire outside help. Fine, go for it.
So they hired some dude and he quit after HALF a day of work that has to say something about what they expect.

$300 for a re-install is fucking ridiculous, no one around here would pay that. They would save their money and go get a newer one...lol. Although they may be charging them for a license fee in there...
I just want to charge reasonable amounts: $50 for re-install without backing up (bring own recovery cd that came with laptop) $100 for re-install with backing up (bring own recovery cd that came with laptop) $30 diagnostic fee (software/hardware) $50 virus clean Just some rough numbers I've been coming up with.
