I'm not sure how you'd make sure it was the pump (besides it failing on you completely). The fuel pump in my truck and the Nizz just died out of nowhere

didn't get any warning.

thats what happened to narcoburb too when it failed, although it had started like 5 minnutes before then and died once.

monday when i bought pizza i had turned off cv fo like 5 minutes to get pizza, took a few tries for the motherfucker to start

Did you test priming the fuel system (as described in an earlier post) to see if that helps?

Buy fuel pressure tester. Practice using it. Carry it around with you. When the failure happens, hook it up and test it immediately. Then test while priming. Use a multimeter to see if fuel pump is getting power, too. You might need to create some kind of semi-permanent test leads to make that easier.

Check a Ferd forum for how to test fuel pressure regulator. If there's no pressure, the regulator is not at fault, and there is power to the fuel pump, then it's the fuel pump.
