I did that a few times. There is a certain way you do it that they turn out almost perfect. I think what we did was coat them LIGHTLY in crisco or something and then poke a shitload of holes in it with a fork and nuke it for 5 mins. Something along those lines and they came out so damn nom

That was way too much effort for nuking a potato. Potatoes were made for the microwave. There's nothing that comes out of the microwave more like it had been cooked in a real oven than potatoes. No holes required, no oil, no soaking...just wash it and shove it in the microwave until it's hot in the center (if your microwave has a sensor cook function, let it use its sensor).
Then cut it into a bowl shape, put a bunch of butter or margarine in it, stuff a bunch of mozzarella in, maybe some crumbled bacon, cap it with the piece you cut out, and nuke it some more. Fucking NOM!

Last night my lady and her sis made some nom nom guacamole, mashed potatos, lemon pepper chicken strips, seasoned some burgers, and then my friend grilled the chicken/burgers and we nom'd. Twas all tasty. Covered my mashed potatos in cheese/bacon, loaded MP ftw
