Yea, I'm literally about to freak the hell out over it. Can't convince myself otherwise, which scares me. I know it's completely irrational because I'll jump out of an airplane without a whim, which is many times more dangerous than getting 5 teeth pulled. But still.

Yeah, not sure how to help you with that. I dgaf about the procedure itself, maybe because I didn't have much warning before the first one got pulled and now I know how it feels. I'm more worried about how if I keep pulling teeth everytime there is a problem, I'll end up missing a shitload like some kinda toofless hillbilly (no offense NHB).

Yea, the pain has just been so extreme from my two previous visits I can't get it out of my mind. I think I can put up with a fair amount, but since I "thought" it was supposed to hurt when you get dental work done I never said anything when I had that molar filled several years ago. Wasn't until I tried to get it pulled a few weeks ago that I realized it's not supposed to hurt that much. (PSA, take your kids to the dentist when they're young so they get accustomed to it, even if you don't have insurance. we were literally off and on homeless-poor for years growing up but a check up at the dentist doesn't cost that much) Now that I know why it was hurting so bad I feel a little better, but still. When I get the IV to be put under they're going to load me up with painkillers too, on top of the injections because the "block" injection most surgeons and dentists use flat out doesn't work on some people.
