So about 20 miles into my drive this morning I suddenly was like "Oh shit, I forgot to worry about those wheelcovers flying off." About a quarter mile later a wheelcover came off and started rolling down the street behind me.

That shit's one hell of a coerncidernce!

I had to keep pace with it, worried that it could be run over otherwise. Finally it rolled off onto someone's lawn, just past the sidewalk. I pulled over and got it. As I was walking back to the car, a popo pulled up behind...what annoying timing. I could have handled it myself. He asked if it was mine or if I just found it, I was like "Mine, I have another just like it on the other side." He said he'd wait behind until I got driving again. I threw it in the back seat and got in the car. I kinda jumped out in front of someone a little closer than I'd like but the cop stayed right with me and protected me from the guy I should have let pass.

The one on the other side was more difficult to put on so I figure it's more secure. When I got to work I bent the retainers so it would stay on more securely...it went on like the other one did last night so it ought to be good.
