Oh and called a shop about replacing compressor/dryer in Nizz. They said $700

Called import parts place and for less than $280 can haz reman compressor, dryer, orifice, and 2 cans of r134. Coworker has vacuum that cao is buying. Might have to hang out with him soon and replace it all myself.

Bought a bunch of tubing benders, an aluminum 24 inch vernier caliper, a zerk un-blocker that lets you use a hammer to shove grease in, big thing of A/C O-rings, and the vacuum pump.

The vacuum pump suffers from exactly the problem described in the reviews: It does not come with hoses. The description says it has the fittings it needs but it does not. If I can't come up with cheap hoses to make it work then I may return it and get a loaner like NHB suggested.

Accidentally left A/C on in office yesterday, nice and cold this morning.

Bish ass A/C at home has a circuit breaker or GCFI or something on its plug and it trips every time I turn on the kitchen light or the bedroom light, but nothing else trips it except random chance.
