pinche cv needs new battery, and prawlee new alternator. acid keeps fucking with one of the terminals. yesterday it took a while for it to start up. then when i was leaving store, had to get a jump. then realized one of the terminals was loose as shit, trying to tighten it up but i think the acid made it tighter than usual. need to fight tight enough wrench to not strip the fucking nut

i always spray and scrub KCV terminals with wd-40

does a good job of keeping corrosion away

get battery checked first

that can tell you if the battery or the alternator is the problem

either way they aren't huge fixes

also, when i first got KCV i changed out the terminals from the factory ones to something like these:

i put them on the both terminals instead of just the one

u changed terminals or mechanic did?

so i tried tighening the bolt on the terminal, shit broke in half. i replaced whole terminal with bolt like a month or so ago

it leaks acid and hardens every few days. only on one end of battery.
