Yeah... I was thinking the same thing when I posted. I'm still not dead set on riding with them in though. I like to hear what's going on around me, and listen to the bike so I know what it's doing and all that crap.
I'm gonna try it with the cheapies. If I like it, then I'll upgrade.

I too mostly dislike any that don't go inside the ear canal, although there are times when I do like them - if I've just gotten out of the shower, for example, sticking earbuds in my ear canal hurts.

Just re-read that and it's even funnier now.
It LIKES them after the shower when it hurts. |

No, it (and I) likes "any that don't go inside the ear canal" after the shower when in-ear-canal ones hurt.

Found this at Harbor Freight yesterday:
http://www.harborfreight.com/headpho...ack-66976.html $7 Bought it. Haven't tried any of them yet, don't know how they sound. The ear-hook ones look just like the Rio ones I like. Still want the in-ear-canal ear-hook Panasonics, or Acoustibuds for the ear-hook flat buds.

These may be the worst sounding earbuds I've ever tried, and I've tried plenty of dollar store crap. The ear-hook ones are slightly better. I didn't bother with the headband phones.

Usually slickdeals.net has deals on meelectronics headphones all the time.
The next set I will buy is a set of M9s or M9Ps. Last time slickdeals had M9Ps for $13 with free shipping from newegg. http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3175879

For those of you wanting to get a good deal on a good product. I would jump on these, but waiting until M9Ps go on-sale. Only difference is microphone and ipod/media device control.
Cao Newegg has M9s on sale... $11.99 + free shipping. http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3219790 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...bles-_-na-_-na

Meh, don't need, I just bought that set at HF on impulse because it has the earhook ones. I really have more fucking earphones than I'll ever use now.
---------- Post added at 03:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:16 PM ---------- What I am interested in is something really good to use with my phone. I hate bluetooth shit, that's great if you use it every day so you can keep it charged (or keep a good AAA battery in it) and paired but I don't...and I need something that blocks wind noise while I drive with my windows open. I love the earbud set that came with my Samsung M500 except it's not in-ear-canal type so it doesn't block wind noise or stay in my ears. I recently realized that, rather than spend another dollar on another earphone, I ought to just spend $10 on Acoustibuds for the thing that I already love.

Sounds like you want some M9Ps. or something IEM (in-ear monitor) style with a control built into it.

Looks like a nice product. Too nice for me, most likely. Also, no 2.5mm plug. I don't want to deal with a 3.5mm->2.5mm adapter.

So you don't want a 2.5mm plug? Your phone has 3.5mm then?
I thought you had a dumbphone and they all had 2.5mm? Haven't had one for years tho so I dunno

He's saying the M9P doesn't come with a 2.5mm... so he'd have to use and adapter. Which he's against. No bueno.
