Cez, sounds like starter to me if it made zero noise and electronics came on. If it happens again, hit starter with a wrench a few times and see if it wakes up.

Cez, if it makes no sound whatsoever, it might be the starter or it might be some flaky connection/electrical component. It's possible but unlikely that it's the battery.

My truck does that in the winter. Usually it comes alive after I swap the battery, even though the battery wasn't bad. I suspect I could just disconnect and reconnect the same battery and it will work. Once I swapped the battery and it didn't help so I went to put a third battery in (I have two spares now), but I accidentally put the original one back in and then it fired right up. I suspect it's a flaky ignition switch or something stupid like that. The starter was replaced and it seemed better for a few months but that may just have been because winter was over.

pinche cv. i wish i had leftover monies for some stuff, i thought when it was starter it made a lil bit of noise as you kept key turned

. now i really have to wait. might start looking around again if i dont get a call the next few days.

cez - just get really busy with work. work 515am-330pm pst, then usually gym after work. down about 20 lbs since march. get home about 630pm pst. not much time elsewhere. travel on weekends to see gf in norcal every 2-3 weeks. needless to stay not a lot of time.

wan - you good with computers? want to work on my computer via teamviewer?

Southern California. In Los Angeles area.

Oil/energy market went south, got relocated from Canada, ended up at a refinery in Los Angeles. Still with Chevron.
