Definitely check fluid level and check out color. If its too dark, could need change. If it has metal flakes in it, could be something going to shit in there.

If the fluid is low then you can top it off and it should be fine.

If it's any other transmission problem, it's too late to fix it with a fluid change. A common fear, in fact, is that a flush will exacerbate a situation like this. You could try Lucas, there may be nothing left to lose.

The good news is it's probably very easy to replace the transmission in a CV, if you want to become a car gai.

I see them on CL every now and then fairly cheap from totaled CVs too, might be able to acquire sheep.

Or pay for a rebuild

Ask MBP/Chriz to rebuild.
