Loving life right now as in when it rains it pours. House AC has quit working now


Diagnosis, ran fine all day. This evening when it kicked down to our night setting it just kept running. Went outside and fan is not running, only can hear a hum and the housing is super hot above fan. Anything I can do to fix or need to call AC company?

Fan motor could be bad or just in need of oiling.

Believe it is capacitor. After giving it a nudge it started running. Have a buddy of a buddy who does AC coming tomorrow to replace it and prob fan motor too so its just done and taken care of.

When it rains it definitely pours.

Sounds like how I might roll if I was in better financial condition. As it stands I prefer not to say anything that might risk any detrimental effect, however indirect, on my income. On a totally unrelated subject, everybody should always go to college.
