Yep. I don't have jack stands or anywhere to change it myself, so I actually have to break down and have it done. Realistically it would have cost me in the neighborhood of the same price...about $60 for oil and $15 for the filter.
Hell of a lot better than the stealership though...$250 |

Why is it $180? I my truck doesn't even cost that much? Is it because you have an import beamer?

Even my VW with its weird filter, full synthetic oil, and oddities in the oil change procedure doesn't cost $100 at a dealer to change the oil. It's under $70.
I DIY in my yard. I do have jack stands, but next time I'm going to try driving it onto a few planks and see if that gets it high enough.

I took my shit to Jiffy Lube last time simply because I was too lazy to do it myself. $60 included topping off other fluids of course thats non-synthetic and a filter that ran on these trucks from 88-99 not very specific

Why do you drive up onto cinderblocks with your truck? Do you get a midget to stand up underneath it?
My truck, I just crawl under...stock height is enough clearance for my fat ass.

I haven't had to pay for my oil changes on both my rides for over 2 years now. I got them with 32 free oil changes from the dealership.
I have only used like 5 or 6 of them on each vehicle.
