as long as the wrench is 100% fitting the bolt correctly, you can put a metal tube/pipe/etc on the wrench to get more leverage

Use modern fancy-schmancy design that grips by the flat sides instead of by the tips of the corners. There are a bunch, but the first picture below is the most common...decent HF sockets come like that, as do Strap-On and Crapsman and such.

I'm off of Seagate. At work we had a few years worth of machines come with Seagates that were a series that had tons and tons of failures. For years we burned through tons of those motherfuckers.
I did my oil change tonight. In the dark. On frozen mud. In the cold. Amazingly it was one of the smoothest, quickest, cleanest oil changes I've ever done, despite the shop having semi-gorilla-tightened the oil filter and drain plug. They also replaced my parking brake cables (which did NOT need replacing but whatever) and didn't adjust it right, so as I was shoving the drain plug the car was rolling on the rutted, bumpy, frozen mud. Also, funnel oil cap FTW. Dumped the 5-quart jug in without spilling a single drop on my spark plug wires/exhaust manifold. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001DVROOU Just gotta get one of those quick-release drain plugs and this shit will be tits.

All we use at work are Seagates because they've always been great to us. I'm a server guy so I'm only talking about Enterprise grade 1-2tb drives but we have LOTS of them in RAIDs and haven't noticed any increased failure rates. One set of RAIDs has recently started to have some failures but it's roughly 5 years old. I'd say 5 years of 24/7 up time with lots of I/O is pretty reliable.

Windows 10: I heard that it will be a free upgrade forever for 8.1 users, and the one year promo is for Windows 7.
