Daemon Tools is too big and overcooked. Also, I have had some problem with something related to it recently (though I can't remember what...yeah, that's a big help...).

That command will mount c:\copiedFolder as the K: drive. K: and c:\copiedFolder will both function, and will each be a separate way to access the same files.

It's tiny, fast, clean, and perfectly functional. Its interface is mildly annoying the first couple times you use it. I know there's a more modern program that's almost as small/clean and a little easier to use.
A CD burning program like Roxio Easy CD Creator or Sonic RecordNow might have the ability to pull the CD into an ISO, if you don't already have a tool you prefer.
