Hey no shit how cool is this, it's not completely incompatible...these Valvoline-branded blades go for $2-3 at Sears/Kmart on sale often and the website shows what I think is the new style (bottom of page)

Those are the ones I buy, they're not bad and they're fine donors for beam blades.
