FTP sensor is used for evap test cycle. Vent and purge valves are both closed and tank is pressurized. If pressure doesn't rise as expected then a leak has been detected.
Fuel pump shutoff uses inertial sensors, I think the same ones as the airbags and seatbelt pretensioners but not sure.
