I got a scammy looking check in the mail recently. It was $18.04 for a class action settlement against some credit card companies for something about foreign transaction fees.
I googled it. I got snopes, some financial forums, and a blog on BBB with lots of great comments from people who fully followed up. It's actually legit!
What should I buy? Roast beef sandwiches? Earbuds? Smart charger for my cordless tool batteries? Right angle drill? Window channel for
? Lug nuts?
Here's someone else's photo of the same check. It's identical except for the date, claim number, my address (of course), and the account number on the bottom of the check.
