All I used was the wash and rinse setting to blast all the mounting redidue off. I only sprayed the truck with the quickwax afterwards.

hopefully this tire cleaner removes the shit

Westley`s Bleche White has always done a great job when i cared how my tires looked.

No seriously,

I've done that before on bulky items and people will actually go for it. Just figure the actual shipping cost and then add whatever amount would make it worthwhile to you. I bought my regency rst wing and rollpan assembly for $200 and turned around and sold the wing for $200 and the rollpan/tips for $450. The shipping was cheap but the packaging was a PITA

theholycow 05-27-2011 08:22 PM

Maybe the wash brought the brake dust out to the tires...

It's possible, I tried to wash off the wheels but gave up. I'll scrub them good tomorrow and hope the Meguirs foam fixes it.

So I thought I was so happy about the hot weather today, then i walked into a/c and i was like :moogusta:

Do the wheels have tires?

Cez★ 05-27-2011 08:31 PM

nope. just rims. two are in boxes already but i threw out two boxes when i went to install em

black06 05-27-2011 08:34 PM

go find a wheel shop and ask for some boxes? Shipping shouldn't be more than $40-50 a wheel if that.

Cez★ 05-27-2011 08:49 PM

A WHEEL?!!??!?!?!
:fts:

black06 05-27-2011 09:03 PM

o yea. hmmm. guess ill check later lol.

black06 05-27-2011 09:46 PM

Toss one in a box and get an estimate @ fedex/ups

take that total and add your profit = s&h

2005_Silverado 05-27-2011 09:50 PM

imo...Id just go to a wheel shawp and jack boxes. Like mentioned...no need to take all 4 to USPS/FagEx/UPS to get quote..just take one and multiply x 4. remember le weight/dimensions of caja so u can go online and get quote for other fgt zip codes.

theholycow 05-27-2011 10:07 PM

Tell them you'll be shipping 4, they might have a better rate for that much stuff or they might advise you to package them in pairs to save money.

2005_Silverado 05-27-2011 10:30 PM

Ive been told it didnt matter if sent individual or packaged in pairs  doesnt hurt to ask though

Cez★ 05-27-2011 11:03 PM
