Where were you on 9/11?

I was in school in le 7th grade

School was on lockdown for a real reason, not just a drill.

A lot of downtown Atlanta was cleared out just in case so mi madre was home early.

Got home and every single channel had 9/11 news coverage. I'd never seen anything like that in my life. Was ready to piss on some terrorist fags.

Fuck osama bin fagen and his "respectful" muslim burial. Bitch ass fag didn't give a shit about the 3000 people he killed. Faggot shouldve been taken alive, forced to eat cocks, had his tiny balls chopped off and fried and let a little rat naw on em in a corner. Faggot should've been kept alive until the new tower was built and pushed off it so he could feel what the people felt who had to jump out of the twin towers. faggot should've been ass raped by a bunch of gay dudes. Faggot should've been placed at the bottom of a GIANT outhouse where anybody could piss or shit on him.

Most of my teachers played the news for maybe 15-20 minutes at the beginning of class and then we did bullshit ass school work like normal.

I was a freshman. At the time there was this morning show that was pretty damn jesty, always getting in trouble with the FCC for saying nasty (but lulz) stuff and cursing on accident. That morning they were all serious as we drove to school. That was before the second plane hit and they thought it was some sort of accident but knew that even as an accident, it was a huge tragedy. I had the feeling of "damn that shits crazy" and then walked into school, jested with friends, etc and when I got into class the second one had hit and everyone knew it wasn't an accident. We watched CNN in every class, I don't think we did any work at all. Most people left early.

I was working for my parents' company. I was out on the road. When I got back to the office they called me into the living room to see what was going on. I was ready to enlist that day. If it wasn't for wife and mom I probably would have...probably would've been good for me too.

Dubyagee 09-11-2011 01:13 PM

I was at work. Heard about it on the radio just as the second plane hit the towers.

RM90 09-11-2011 03:46 PM

6th grade. I was going into class and the tv was already on showing the first plane and a little bit later the 2nd plane. I was picked up somewhat early that day from school.

race2c 09-11-2011 05:29 PM

I was in the 8th grade at my lockers. We were in-between classes, so grabbing stuff for my next class.

When I got to class, only thing we did was watch the news and evens about what happened.

VmaxEngage 09-11-2011 07:54 PM

7th Grade. Watched the news in every class that day.

lowerc 09-12-2011 12:20 AM

was in 3rd year university. Walking home from an early class. ran into a friend on the street and he was freaking out, said crazy shit was going down on the news. went home and watched the rest unfold. Even us up in Canadialand were shocked and mournful

I was about 50 miles south of the Pentagon. At home. Worrying about the family and friends of mine that worked in DC. I was actually asleep when it all first started going down until I got a phone call from a friend who told me to wake up and turn on the TV.

theholycow 09-12-2011 02:50 AM

I've been watching the documentaries on CBS.

It reminded me of how I was ready to join the military so I could help kick some ass.

When the documentary really got into the search & rescue / cleanup of the following days, the memories really started flooding in of feeling so strongly that I needed to go and help. Smart, strong, able bodied, I even probably had some equipment that I could have used.

VmaxEngage 09-12-2011 03:01 AM

This helped me choose to become an EMT. Heroes were made that day.

7th grade. Came in from first recess, teacher was crying but wouldn't tell us why. Parents called and pulled their kids outta class. Mom came and picked me and sister up. Still didnt understand what was going on. Got home and flipped on the tv as the second plane went in. Thought I was watching some Bruce Willis/Action movie, flipped through a couple channels, and it sunk in what I was watching.

Watched tv with entire family, with the phone ringing off the hook for about 7 hours straight that day. Will live on with me forever.

apedestrian 09-12-2011 06:53 AM

i think i was in the 4th grade at that time my teacher came into the room crying and she said the twin towers had been hit by planes, I had never seen the towers before so i thought that the Twin towers were these towers http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2333/...7c252f97_z.jpg
I didn't know what was going on it all looked like a movie.
