Just saw Watchmen.

I thought it was good. Not awesome but a decent movie. It was a suprised to me how it was almost like a porno too ;)

Ed4x4 03-11-2009 10:08 PM

like a porno?! shit, Im gonna have to go see it now:crazy:

FluffyMrB 03-11-2009 10:10 PM

I saw it too few days 'go
indeed a decent movie :)
what I like 'bout the movie is that none of the heroes really have superhuman powers, 'xcept Dr. Manhattan ^^
& that the ending is both good & bad, it's nice twist to the story :D

stonehenge 03-12-2009 03:50 PM

I think I'll be seeing this Friday along with a couple other movies at the drive-in. 3 movies for $6 ftwww

Renegade Pope 03-12-2009 09:23 PM

I heard it was a 3 hour movie with 20 minutes of action, i'll have to check it out because everyone has different opinions on what they think is a good movie. The sex scene always makes a movie gain some good points.

There was alot of character building and alot of talk. It was alot less action but it was a decent movie.

Renegade Pope 03-13-2009 03:09 AM

Yeah the previews looked great for it so i will definately still check it out

stonehenge 03-13-2009 05:09 AM

Well Tucson AZ is still an older city. They don't want to update themselves and want to keep it 60's style still

haha we have plenty of nice theaters to go to including a new harkins that is apparently pretty badass, but me and the lady prefer to drive-in. You pay $6 per person and you watch 2 movies on the screen you pay for, then turn around and watch another screen (they replay the first movie after the second movie is over) to see a third movie. $2/movie suckas. Plus, we can take a pizza with us, some beer, sodas, whatever the hell we want and not have to pay $5 for M&Ms like stated above :rofl2: We haven't been to an actual theater since The Dark Knight and before that I don't even remember, maybe Transformers? lol

Sounds good in my truck with the subs too! Only real downside to it is movies that have a LOT of darkness in them can be hard to see sometimes :(

You got to admit, Tucson isn't moving forward in updating itself. I hate how they blocked all the major exists off on I-10 :Stupid Me: I do like the drive-ins. You get to tune into the sound via your radio now right?

Actually its been slowly moving forward. Like the south side for example just not a nice big outdoor mall thing with the Harkins, Best Buy, JCPennys, etc. This side of town didn't have shit for the longest time. I-10 should have been done long ago but at least they are getting around to it. Having all the exits blocked is annoying as hell, but once its done, it is gonna be nice IMO.

There area also a lot of random areas around town that they are remodeling/landscaping and whatnot to make look better also. Its still Tucson though :rofl2:

We only have one drive-in left (the other ones were gone years ago) and it doesn't have the posts w/ the shitty speakers, you use your car radio now so don't take a ride with a shitty battery or expect to let it idle the whole time haha.

If we had something like that around here I would actually pay to go see the movies instead of watching them online.

stonehenge 03-14-2009 06:47 PM

Well we ended up not going :bawl: since watchmen and last house on the left both look like pretty dark movies (mostly take palce at night) they wouldn't have been that great at the drive-in. We're just gonna go see last house on the left today at the Harkins.

Joe Kickass 03-15-2009 10:24 PM

Watchman was pretty cool, there was however alot more blue wang then I ever needed to see.

stonehenge 03-15-2009 10:58 PM

Ok so we DID go to the drive in  but after Last House on the Left / Taken we were tired and Watchmen is loooong so we'll probably see it another time.

We liked it but the very very end makes you say "wtf" LOL, just like the last couple minutes. The rest is pretty good imo

Renegade Pope 03-16-2009 09:16 PM

Blue wang lol, at least they didnt make him get an erection when he was fighting evil doers.

stonehenge 03-16-2009 09:42 PM

all this talk of big blue wang makes me not want to see it :rofl2:

Shaggy 03-16-2009 11:42 PM

Its not that bad. You see it maybe 2 or 3 times in the movie for like 3 seconds each time.
