Many video embedding sites added
 

Everyone here probably already knows about YouTube embedding, using "yt" tags with the videoID from the URL or from the embed code you can get from the site. Well, I've setup other sites to work the same way.

The videoID is not used, some funky key is used instead. It's in the text box you get when you click "embed", near the beginning, after "<param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/". For example:

Gotta click "Menu" then "Share" and the VideoID is in there near the beginning after id=".

MP3 embedding! Miscellaneous other additions to the forum.
 

You can now embed mp3 audio from the web in posts using [mp3] tags around the URL. It will display the URL of the mp3 and a small player.

Is it working for you? It's not working for me. I don't know if I need to fix the forum or my browser.

It's working for me as long as the host plays nicely. The one I posted is working fine on my end :shrug:

BTW a good way to find direct mp3 links to post is Skreemr.com

Removed click-to-play and reduced size. It's actually sized as a percentage, not pixels, so I cut it to 80%. DNW to go too small, lots of gfycat content is high-res, and since it's percentage it won't be oversized no matter how small the screen is.

I don't think I can do one for random WebM files, I think they have to be hosted somewhere with its own embedding like gfycat/imgur. Got any specific sites in mind?

You already added gfycat didn't you? I think that's the main one that most people use.
