I live in RI where too many people think an hour drive means booking a hotel and packing suitcases, but at least out in the sticks* where I live, pizza gets delivered further than 10 miles...

*: That is to say, what is considered the sticks in RI.

Maybe it's an economy thing? Gas is a few bucks a gallon everywhere (not half a dollar, not ten dollars), despite differences in income and cost of living, so fuel takes a smaller percentage of the budget here...

Or maybe I'm just overthinking it and your pizza deliverance bros are lazy.

they do deliver more than 10 miles but only a few out of the city limits. they will meet at bulan which is about 4 miles out of the city but wont drive the other 4 or 5 to get to me. sticks here and sticks there a whole different animal I would imagine. im guessing you are considered still in a city limits. I am not. we have a pizza hut papa johns and giovannas that do deliver. come to think of it they may come on out there idk. I just know when id get it at scotts house we had to drive to the post office to meet them. fuel is a few short of 3 dollars and they guys make min wage plus tips. oh rick this idea of sticks is imagine more 4 wheelers on highway than cars. hazard pretty much the sticks too.

RI doesn't have any unincorporated land. Everything in RI is in a city or town.

My yard backs up to state forest/hunting land so there's nobody behind me, but in front and to the sides there are other houses. I can't see the ones on the sides right now but in the winter I can.

4 wheelers, dirt bikes, etc are difficult to use in RI. I could probably ride out of my back yard, I think it's allowed on that chunk of state land, but most public land in RI does not allow motorized vehicles and you sure as hell can't take something on the road that's not street legal, registered, insured, and inspected...so most people have to trailer that shit to the few areas where you can use it.

they aren't street legal here but everyone rides them on the highway. may get in trouble on the 4 lanes but the 2 lane roads nothing is ever said. i cant see another house from this one. yay me. that's the good things about being a hillbilly you can do all this kind of shit you cant do like in ri and other places. ride 4 wheelers down the highway, pull cars apart in your front yard, shoot guns behind the house etc.
