I had a leased 2008 VW Rabbit (aka Golf). Overall a great car to drive, though it had a few minor faults. Not sure I'd want to own one permanently (parts cost/availability, iffy reputation).

my dad has a doge raider that is stick, might need to take it for a spin so my next car can be a manual (cheaper, fun) :chin:

theholycow 08-20-2018 04:55 PM

My first times driving manual were with folks not knowing. Read up, watch some videos, then go try a test drive.

Cez★ 08-20-2018 07:25 PM

seriously?

im down for it. just dont want to go and be denied at dealer.

stonehenge 08-20-2018 07:35 PM

will just joy ride dads raider whenever he isn't home :cheeky:

Secretly want to steal it anyway, you guys ever seen a Raider? They only made them from like 87-89 and are essentially a rebadged 2dr Mitsubishi Pajero. It actually says "Imported for Dodge" on the back instead of just throwing Dodge logos on it and pretending they made it. Kinda interesting.

Pops' is black, looks pretty much like this one:

drove an auto one once. I just watched other people to learn stick. got in one at like 13 could drive it. I drove a stick 72 landcruiser in fl that was fun. I still prefer an auto though.
